This toy fire truck is really fun for any girl or boy to enjoy. Just set it up and you're good to go! The Amazon listing does say that the batteries are ready to use. I thought otherwise, as I had not even tried it out for 10 minutes before the batteries started to die on me. Another issue that I encountered was that the tires started to fall off. No matter how many times I tried to fix them it just kept coming off. If a toy does that, it definitely is not safe for children to play with. I had tried contacting the business about the above issue as well as the issue where the truck barely goes left or right and that it does not drive in a straight line. I never heard anything back from them, which was upsetting. Besides the few things which I feel may have been due to just a defect it is a fun and great product for children to have countless hours of fun. A cool feature on this fire turck is the 360 degree rotating rescue crane. Now how cool is that? Definitely something that can be used to play with action figures or barbie dolls or what have you. In the box you also have batteries for the truck and for the remote control. The batteries that are for the remote control are rechargeable and comes with a power cord to plug in and charge.
I do recommend a toy like this for kids, but I don't recommend this company as mine fell apart and could not get a hold of the business.
