When looking for an exfoliating sponge I always worry whether it will be too rough or not. When I took the Konjac sponge out it had me worried because it was fairly rough. The moment I moistened it I was hooked. It felt great to use, it was smooth to the face and I didn't want to stop using it! I use it with a gentle face wash to exfoliate the skin. It is very easy to use as well as to disinfect, all you need to do is boil the sponge for 2 minutes or place in a bowl of water and microwave for 1:30 minutes. The sponge is made with the konjac fiber [a vegetable fiber] which comes from the root of a konjac plant and is native to eastern Asia. The materials are 100% natural, biodegradable, and coloring and additive free, not to mention cruelty free and vegan. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has sensitive skin who aren't able to use usual facial scrubs or loofahs.
