I love reading and learning about World War 2, especially about the holocaust. It's an interest that I've had for a long time. Naturally I was excited to read this book that talks more about the holocaust and Hitler. Just the history behind it the politics. Things some people may not think about or realize. Truthfully I have not yet finished this book but I will say that it has been very very interesting so far.
A lot of research went into putting this book together. Timothy Snyder read in many languages to to research for this book like; German, Polish, Yiddish, Russian, Hebrew, French, and Ukrainian. As you can see there is a lot of work that went into this. I respect the author for this, as writing about a topic like this isn't always easy.
I look forward to finishing this book and will do an update post about this book when I finish it.
