Hyaluronan makes up the majority of your skin tissue, that is related to tissue repair. When a persons skin gets overly present to UVB rays, which generally results in a sunburn, the cells located in the dermis ultimately stop producing the proper amount needed of hyaluronan acids which would then increase the deterioration of the skin. When deterioration in the skin begins it starts to form little dark spots on the skin.
Kojic acid is used in cosmetics to lighten skin. It can also treat skin diseases like melasma, which are tan or dark skin discolorations which normally appear on pregnant women or those taking oral or patch contraceptives. Kojic acid appears to have protective effects against damage that are radiation induced.
When using this product I really liked the smell and the cool feeling I felt when I applied the product. Once the product dried it didn't feel sticky at all. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who may have any sun or dark spots. I will also do a follow up post with pictures of before and after to see if there truly is a difference. :)
